Fatal Havoc from Chicago, IL

Fatal Havoc is a hard rock band hailing from Chicago, IL.  The band was born when Mykie and Milez jammed together after their previous project disbanded. After having many songs prepared and after a little searching, they soon added Vocalist Chris and Bassist Cain to the band. In 2012, when Milez left the band, Smyff was added as full time Drummer, bringing hard hitting Drums and an epic stage show.

Then in 2013, Fatal Havoc released their debut self-titled EP.  Ever since, they have opened up for several famous acts, and this March the band will enter Gravity Studios in Chicago, IL to record their full-length album "Gasping for Air." The album will be recorded, mixed, and mastered by the legendary Doug McBride.

Their Music video for Agony Of It All has garnered almost 60,000 unique views, and they have already received a number of sponsors, fans, and now have a staff of helpers. Their music is comprised of modern, hard hitting drums, catchy riffs, and melodic singing with screaming that is all blended together to make their unique and current sound. It is a type of music that is loved nationally by fans everywhere and is very radio friendly. Whether you're a fan of hard rock or solid live performances, Fatal Havoc is a band to watch closely.

Now let me share with you the brief interview I conducted with Fatal Havoc's drummer, Smyff.  It was a pleasure speaking with him and I couldn't be more excited for this band's future.

Creative Edge Music: Would you care to introduce yourself for our audience? What is your name and what do you do in Fatal Havoc?

Smyff: My name is Smyff, and I play Drums for Fatal Havoc

Creative Edge Music:  What is the band up to at the moment? Is there something you’re working on currently?

Smyff: We are currently working on pre-production for our full length album "Gasping for Air." In March we are entering Gravity Studios in Chicago, IL where famous acts such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Rise Against, Fallout Boy, Veruca Salt and many more have recorded. Our album is going to be recorded, mixed and mastered by the legendary Doug McBride.

Creative Edge Music: What’s your favorite thing about playing live?

Smyff: My favorite thing about playing live is the connection, the energy, the feeling, and the fans are what make it worthwhile.

Creative Edge Music: Have you played any shows alongside any major artists?

Smyff: We have had the privilege of playing with many famous acts including Sevendust, Lacuna Coil, Coal Chamber, Hurt, Smile Empty Soul, Isaac James (Joel Ekman of Stone Sour), Herman Rarebell (Scorpions) The Dreaming (with ex members of Stabbing Westward), Psychostick, Eye Empire, Seasons After, Queensryche, Stardog Champion (with ex members of Breaking Benjamin) Adema, and many more!

Creative Edge Music: If I was to turn up at a show, what should I expect from you in terms of music and showmanship? Is there any crazy stuff you do to pull the crowd?

Smyff: Quality, consistency, and a killer show! I also do what is called a windmill, which is rotating your hair in a complete circle, which is really popular among the crowd.

Creative Edge Music: Thank you for taking the time to speak to us about what you do. Do you have any final words, or anything you would like to add?

Smyff: Thank you guys! Do what you want to do in life, keep pushing forward and never stop doing what you love.
